Power
Batteries and adaptors
Run the searchlight from its own battery, from a vehicle, or from a fixed installation on a mast or a roof.
LEMAX LXB2 battery
Rechargeable Li-Ion battery. Fast charging, a huge number of charge cycles — it can work every day for over three years with a professional user. Rugged design, waterproof housing, optional waterproof battery cap.
LXB2 battery car charger
Recharge the LXB2 battery on the go, straight from the vehicle. 12 V DC input.
External adaptor with switch
Allows the LXB2 battery to be installed away from the searchlight. The remote on/off switch is integrated in the sealed battery cap; the standard cable between cap and searchlight is 10 m (other lengths on request). Used when the searchlight is installed on a roof, a mast or a tripod. Dust, humidity and rain proof.
External adaptor, cig plug (12 V)
Removes the need for the standard battery case — connect the searchlight directly to a 9–16 V DC power supply through a cigarette lighter socket in cars, armoured and 4WD vehicles, boats, trucks or helicopters. Advanced adaptors for up to 48 V available on special request.
Shoulder straps that significantly reduce arm fatigue are also available — ask us for details.
Filters
Change what the beam does
Filters slot onto the head of the searchlight. Infrared for covert work, UV for forensics, yellow for fog, diffusion for wide-area lighting.
Infrared filter
For use with the new generation of night vision equipment. The standard IR filter cuts off at 850 nm (semi-covert). A 930 nm full covert filter is available on special request.
UV filter
Ultra violet filter suitable for forensic use.
Yellow filter
Suitable for use in foggy conditions. A different wave length enables better visibility in fog and over water.

Soft lens (diffusion)
For applications where illumination of a large area is required rather than a long distance, focused beam — rescue operations, vehicle, aircraft and train accidents, capsized boats, emergency lighting and construction sites. Often mounted on a tripod.

Red filter
Colour filter for signalling and low-visibility work. LEMAX also offers other colour filters and filters for special applications on request.
